EducAfrica Foundation in collaboration with Fundacion Maisha and Teen STAR(Chile) recently held a reproductive health session among adolescent girls at Golden Bells Education Centre, in Mathare, one of the informal settlements in Nairobi(Kenya). The session was informed by a prior survey that the volunteers conducted earlier in the year on the knowledge needs of the adolescents in the partner community schools. This session forms a part of our joint sexual and affectivity program for students.
Our Volunteers
Our volunteers were rich in knowledge, especially on the subject matter. Their capability in breaking down complex matters into digestible information was crucial in engaging young adolescents.
